How to play FuseFold
The board is a sheet of squares, some holding a coloured pip. The arrows in the margin mark creases: tap one and the sheet folds in half along that line, with the smaller side flipping over onto the larger one. Wherever two pips land on the same square they fuse if their colours match — and jam if they do not, which is why impossible creases are crossed out instead of hidden. That single rule is the whole game: you are looking for the order of folds that brings every amber circle together, every rose diamond together, and so on, without ever forcing two different colours into the same square. You win the moment each colour is down to one pip. Sheets start at three squares and grow to 8×8 with four colours, and every board is built by unfolding a finished sheet, so a solution always exists. Tips & strategy
- Read the crossed-out creases first. A jammed fold tells you two colours sit on the same rows or columns, which narrows the order of folds far faster than looking at the pips alone.
- Fold the axis that is already nearly done. Columns and rows are independent — folding a column never changes which rows can fold — so you can plan the two directions separately and interleave them however you like.
- A colour with pips in only one row is already solved in that direction. Count each colour's distinct rows and columns; the sum of what is left is roughly how much folding you still owe.
- Big first folds are usually wrong. Halving the sheet immediately merges the most pips and jams the most often — the tight solutions tend to shave a narrow strip off one edge first.

What does a crossed-out crease mean?
That fold would land two different colours on the same square, which jams. Blocked creases are shown rather than hidden, so you can always see which folds are impossible and work the board out by elimination.
Can a board be unsolvable?
No. Every board is built by unfolding a finished sheet, so a solution always exists. The par shown is verified by an exhaustive solver, which means it is the genuine shortest solution and is always reachable.
Which half of the sheet moves when I fold?
The smaller half always flips onto the larger one, and an even split folds the left or top half inward. The arrow on each crease handle shows which way that fold travels before you commit to it.
