How to play Beamloop
Every level is a light circuit waiting to be finished. Emitters fire beams across the grid; your job is to drag mirrors, splitters and other optics onto the dashed pads so every crystal receives a beam of its own color. The simulation is live — beams re-trace instantly as you place and rotate pieces, so experimenting is half the fun. Seven worlds each add a mechanic: splitters, color filters, prisms that break white light apart, combiners that mix it back, portals, beam-powered gates, and finally loop cores — which only light when light crosses them from two directions. If you enjoy laser and mirror puzzles, Beamloop is Skorven's hand-built take on the genre: 70 levels, every one machine-verified solvable.

Tips & strategy
- Work backwards from the crystal: which direction must the final beam arrive from? That fixes your last mirror, and often the whole chain.
- Colors subtract through filters and add through combiners — red + blue makes violet, all three make white. Check what a crystal needs before you route.
- Par counts pieces placed plus rotations changed. Beating par earns three stars, so look for routes that reuse a beam instead of adding pieces.
- Loop cores don't strictly need a loop — two different beams crossing at the core also count. Sometimes that's the cheaper answer.
Beamloop FAQ
How do I win a level?
Light every crystal with its exact color and light every loop core. Gates open themselves once their collector is fed.
Can a level be unsolvable?
No — a solver verifies all 70 levels and computes par from a real minimal solution before they ship.
Is Beamloop free?
Completely — browser-based, no download, no signup, all seven worlds included.
