How to play Color Flood

You own the top-left corner. Each turn, pick a colour: your whole territory changes to it and absorbs every neighbouring cell of that colour. Flood the entire board into one colour before your moves run out. The daily challenge serves the same seeded board to every player, and VS mode turns it into a territory battle where you and an opponent flood from opposite corners.

Tips & strategy

• Look two moves ahead: the best colour is often the one that sets up a huge absorption next turn, not the biggest grab now.
• Prioritise colours that open paths toward the centre - central territory touches more neighbours than edges do.
• In VS mode you cannot pick your opponent's current colour, so use tempo: take the colour they need before they can.

Par is based on the board's layout at generation time; finishing at or under par earns full stars.

Is the daily board the same for everyone?

Yes - it is seeded from the date, and completing it maintains your daily streak.

What is the difference between board sizes?

Bigger boards add more regions and longer chains, so they need deeper planning, not just more moves.
