Loop Maze is a time-loop puzzle game where you record your movements as "echoes" — ghosts of your past selves — and use them to solve increasingly complex mazes. If you're new to the game, this guide will help you understand the core mechanics and solve your first puzzles.
The key insight in Loop Maze is that you're not just solving a maze — you're choreographing multiple versions of yourself across time. Each "echo" replays your exact path from a previous attempt, and these echoes can interact with the maze just like you can.
Pressure plates are orange pads on the floor. When you (or an echo) stand on one, it opens the linked door. The door stays open only while the plate is held down. This is why you need echoes — you can't hold a plate and walk through the door at the same time if they're far apart.
The most important technique in Loop Maze is the WAIT command. When you're standing on a pressure plate, press SPACE (or the pause button on mobile) to wait in place. This makes your echo linger on the plate longer, giving your future self more time to reach the door. After waiting enough turns, press E to RECORD your echo.
Loop Maze has 75 levels across 5 worlds. World 1 (Awakening) teaches basics with 1 echo. World 2 (Duality) introduces 2-echo puzzles. World 3 (Trinity) adds lasers. World 4 (Convergence) brings teleporters and conveyors. World 5 (Paradox) combines everything with 5 simultaneous echoes.
